The Seoul Week: A Health Checkup and Aesthetic Treatments in One Trip
How K-Beauty Route plans a one-week medical trip to Seoul: a full health checkup, dental work and non-surgical skin and lifting treatments, booked across hospitals in the right order, with airport pickup and someone with you all week.
Short answer: The Seoul Week is K-Beauty Route's one-week program for people who want several things done in one trip to Seoul: a full health checkup, dental work and non-surgical skin or lifting treatments. We book each hospital, put the appointments in an order that works medically, pick you up at the airport and stay with you all week. Surgery under general anesthesia is not part of the week. It needs its own stay.
Most people who fly to Seoul for one treatment end up asking the same question halfway through the trip: could I have done the checkup, the teeth and the skin while I was here?
You usually can. You can't do it by booking each clinic on its own, though. Every hospital schedules for itself. Nobody looks at the whole week, so you get a fasting blood test the morning after a laser, or a crown fitting on the day your face is still numb.
The Seoul Week is that missing schedule. One person plans the whole week, and K-Beauty Route carries it out.
What can you do in one week in Seoul?
You can combine treatments that are done under local anesthesia or none, that are finished in a day, and that leave you able to walk around the next morning. In practice that means:
| Treatment | Fits in the same week? | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Comprehensive health checkup | Yes, it goes first | One morning to one day. Results can change what is safe later in the week. |
| Non-surgical lifting and skin (ultrasound or radiofrequency lifting, lasers, skin boosters) | Yes | Done in an hour or two. Downtime ranges from none to a few days of redness. |
| Stem cell or PRP injections for joints | Yes | An outpatient procedure. You take it easy on the joint for a few days afterward. |
| Dental cleaning, whitening, same-day crowns | Yes | Single-visit work fits. Crowns depend on whether the clinic mills them on site. |
| Dental implants | No | Bone has to heal around the implant for months before the final tooth goes on. |
| Facelift, breast surgery, liposuction, hair transplant | No | General anesthesia or a long recovery. These get their own stay. See how long to stay in Seoul after surgery. |
Which treatments suit you is decided by each doctor at your consultation, not by us. The table shows what can be scheduled. Your doctors decide what is right for you.
What does a Seoul Week look like?
Here is a sample week. Yours is built around what you want done and the dates you have.
| Day | Plan |
|---|---|
| Day 1 (Sun) | Land at Incheon. We meet you at arrivals and drive you to your hotel. A short briefing on the week. Fasting starts in the evening. |
| Day 2 (Mon) | Comprehensive health checkup at a university or large general hospital. Blood work, imaging, endoscopy if included. An interpreter is with you. |
| Day 3 (Tue) | Dental consultation and cleaning. If crowns are planned, scans and preparation. |
| Day 4 (Wed) | Dermatology consultation, then lifting or laser treatment. Treatments with visible downtime go early so redness settles before you fly. |
| Day 5 (Thu) | Joint consultation and stem cell or PRP injection, if planned. Checkup results review with the doctor. |
| Day 6 (Fri) | Crown fitting or follow-up visits. Free afternoon. |
| Day 7 (Sat) | Final check where needed. We drive you to the airport. |
The order follows three rules.
- The checkup comes first. It needs fasting and sometimes sedation. Its results can change what the other doctors are comfortable doing.
- Treatments that leave marks go early. You want redness and swelling settled before you fly home and before anyone takes your picture.
- Nothing is booked on the morning you leave. Delays happen, and a missed flight costs more than a free morning.
Who is the Seoul Week for?
It's for people whose time costs more than the treatment does. They have a week, not a month. They don't want to research six hospitals in a language they don't read.
Our past clients include athletes and public figures who came for joint treatment, dental work and skincare. The common thread was not the treatment. It was the wish to get everything done properly in one trip, with one person handling the details.
If you want a single procedure at the lowest possible price, this program is not for you, and we'll tell you so.
What is included?
| We handle | You handle |
|---|---|
| Booking every hospital and clinic, and the order of appointments | Flights |
| Airport pickup and drop-off | Your hotel, unless you ask us to book it |
| Car between appointments | Treatment fees, paid to each hospital directly |
| An English-speaking coordinator at every appointment | Final decisions on every treatment |
| Getting quotes and doctor names in writing before you arrive | |
| Follow-up questions to the hospitals after you fly home |
How we are paid: you pay each hospital its standard fee. The hospitals pay us a coordination fee. We tell you this before you book anything.
How much does it cost?
It depends on what you combine. Each hospital quotes separately, and we send you every quote in writing before you commit.
For reference, comprehensive health checkups for international patients at Korean university and large hospitals are commonly listed in the range of about $1,000 to $5,000 or more, depending on how many tests are included. Dental and aesthetic treatments are quoted by each clinic after it reviews your photos or scans.
How far ahead should you book?
Four to six weeks is comfortable. Checkup slots at large hospitals fill first, so we lock that day before anything else. Two weeks can work if your dates are flexible.
How do you start?
Send us what you want done and the week you have in mind. We come back with which treatments can share the week, a draft schedule and the hospitals we would book.
